A Christian ministry serving persecuted Christians is seeing rapid growth in its online presence in the Middle East.

Of the 355 million people living in the Middle East, about 50 percent now have access to the Internet. Kristin Wright, director of advocacy for Open Doors USA, explains they have taken advantage of several social media projects focusing on supporting Christians in the Arab-speaking world.

“Every week on some of our pages we see around 35,000 interactions, particularly on the largest page that we work on with Facebook,” she tells OneNewsNow.
